About
Danny Styles is a Las Vegas producer and multi-instrumentalist making sample-based beat tapes, remixes, and full-band pop punk/rock music for fans of Cookin' Soul, Madvillain, and Hot Mulligan.
Danny Styles is a producer and multi-instrumentalist from Las Vegas,
Nevada, making beat tapes, remixes, and full-band pop punk/rock
music.
His recent album Slappywax is a beat tape that moves
through soft lofi loops, Dilla-inspired drums, distorted
alien-sounding beats, and old-school boom bap.
Under the Covers shows the other side of his music, with
pop punk and rock covers played through his and Lo-Shi's own style.
Drunk Dogs leans further into sample-based production, with
loose drums, chopped-up soul samples, and a rough-around-the-edges
feel.
Danny's work is entirely self-produced, with each project adding
another piece to his world: part beat tape, part band project, part
remix archive.
